BixBookmark is a handy bookmark management application.

The first thing I checked after installing this program was the option of importing bookmarks from various browsers. Internet Explorer Favorites and Opera bookmarks can be imported as a predefined action, as for other bookmarks, there's the option of importing HTML files. Bookmarks can also be exported to HTML or TXT file format. Besides, you can create backups in order to protect your data from damage.

A very nice feature of this program is the integration with Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer. On each browser's top there's a tiny blue button which can be clicked in order to bookmark the current page. The newly created bookmark will contain the page title, URL, user comments and a screenshot automatically created by the program. When you edit a bookmark (login page), you can also add a user name, password and email. You can set a password to prevent access to the program settings.

The bookmarks are displayed in a folder tree you can move to any side of the program. The folders can be password protected in order not to disclose important data. You can also add a rank to each bookmark. In case you gathered so many bookmarks and forgot which is which you can use the search engine to find them by name, address, user comment or creation date.

In conclusion: Considering the fact that it can also be installed on a portable USB device (a Flash memory stick, for example), I can say that it's an excellent application.
